Bring what you build to life.
MotioForge Studio is the desktop software for animating animatronic and electromechanical systems: servos, lights, relays and audio, all coordinated on a single visual timeline. No code, no spreadsheets.
About
A timeline editor for real-world motion.
MotioForge Studio turns a set of servos, control boards and speakers into a programmable animatronic system. You draw movements on a graphical timeline, just like a video or music editor, but instead of frames and notes you work with angular positions and real hardware commands.
Robotic and Environmental Automation for Showmanship.
What you can do
Motion, light and sound in a single project.
Precise motion sequences
Control over position, speed and acceleration for one or more servos.
Synchronized digital outputs
Trigger switches, relays, LEDs and pneumatic actuators in sync with motion.
Coordinated audio
Play audio files and auto-generate movements synced to voice or music.
Multiple devices in parallel
Manage many devices on a single hardware domain, each on its own port.
Loop or trigger
Play in a continuous loop or fire the animation on manual or software command.
Portable projects
Domains and animations saved as standard files, portable to any machine.
How it works
From hardware wiring to motion in four steps.
Define the hardware
You create a domain describing the physical setup: communication ports, connected elements (servos, switches, audio modules) and their parameters: minimum and maximum travel, rest position, hardware model.
Create an animation
Inside the domain you add an animation: a project with its own timeline, to run once, in a continuous loop or on an external trigger.
Draw the movements
Each servo is a horizontal track. You draw a segment by dragging the mouse: height is the angular position, width is time. Add, edit, copy and refine until you get the behavior you want.
Play and fine-tune
One click starts playback: MotioForge Studio sends commands in real time and the character moves exactly as drawn. Stop, reposition the playhead and repeat until it's right.
Hardware
Five element types, one timeline.
Servo Bus
Serial servos (ST3215 and compatible) on a shared port. Precise control of position, speed and acceleration.
Servo PWM
Standard servos on digital pins or I²C expanders (e.g. PCA9685), driven at 50 Hz.
Switch
Digital output (relay, solenoid, LED, valve). On/off or switched in sync with animation segments.
Audio
File playback, volume control and automatic lip-sync generation (amplitude or phonemes).
Trigger Button
Physical button on DEIMOS hardware: when pressed it fires the configured animation.
Interface
Built for people who work on stage, not in code.
Domains at a glance
Create or open a domain, manage ports and elements and load the DEIMOS firmware onto the Arduino, all from the start screen.
Lip-sync from sound
Link a servo to the volume, set the bass/mid/high bands and auto-generate segments synced to the audio.

Use cases
Where MotioForge Studio fits.
Theatre & live shows
Animatronic masks, mechanical mouths synced to voice-over, moving tails and ears, motorized eyes.
Parks & attractions
Large-format figures with multiple movements, triggered as visitors pass, with synced environmental effects.
Escape rooms
Objects that react to players, doors that open, paintings that talk: logic and timing handled here.
Museums & exhibits
Prehistoric animals and historical figures with realistic motion, hands-on exhibits with physical feedback.
Retail & window displays
Animated mannequins, rotating displays, seasonal pieces on programmed cycles, no on-site technician needed.
Cosplay & wearables
Motorized wings, automatic visors, robotic tails and accessories with synced servos and LEDs for every performance.
Animated toys
Plush animals that open their eyes, turn their head or move their paws; dolls that talk while moving their mouth; stuffed animals that breathe. Any toy you want to bring to life.
Prototyping & research
Experimental robotic platforms, lab mechanical arms and automated test rigs.
Benefits
Why MotioForge Studio.
No code required
Animations are built graphically: no programming needed.
Real-time preview
Commands reach the hardware during playback, with no compile step.
Multi-channel
Dozens of servos coordinated on a single timeline.
Cross-hardware
Serial servo buses (ST3215 and compatible) and PWM servos on pins or I²C expanders.
Built-in audio
File playback and lip movements generated automatically from the voice.
On-board AI assistant
Contextual help with setup, animations and troubleshooting, online or offline.
